# Terms

These terms cover playing Riventale at riventale.world and buying looks in its shop. Riventale is run by Lattice Logic Pte. Ltd., a Singapore company ("we"). By playing or buying you agree to them.

## Playing

- Riventale is free to play. You can play alone or online without an account.
- Online, other players see your player name, your character and your chat messages. Pick a name and write messages that are fine for everyone to read. We can remove a name, a character or a player who breaks the game for others.
- Single-player worlds are saved in your browser. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, and we cannot bring them back.

## What you buy

- **Looks for your character:** hats, capes, glowing eyes, trims and other cosmetic items, singly or in sets and bundles. They change only how your character looks. They give no gameplay power.
- **No random items.** You always see exactly which looks you get before you pay.
- **The Supporter Pack** also includes "No ads, for good": when Riventale shows ads, they are off for your account.
- Some packs can be bought once per account; the shop says which.
- Looks belong to the account you bought them with. They cannot be sold, traded or moved to another account.
- Some looks are earned in the game and are not sold.

## Accounts

You need an account only to buy looks (and for features that say so). You sign in with your email (a 6-digit code), Google or a passkey. Keep access to your sign-in: your looks stay with the account.

## Prices and payment

- Prices are in US dollars and include tax. The shop shows the total before you pay. The smallest payment is US$2.99.
- You pay by card on Airwallex's payment page. Airwallex handles your card details; we never see or store your card number.
- Your bank may add its own foreign-currency fee.

## Delivery and the right to cancel

Looks are delivered at once: they are on your account as soon as the payment goes through. Before you pay, the checkout's tick box ("Deliver now, no cancelling") asks you to agree that delivery starts straight away, which waives the 14-day right to cancel (withdraw) that consumers in the EU and the UK otherwise have. You can still refund your latest purchase yourself within 7 days of buying it, once per account; the refund takes back the looks it gave you (see Refunds below).

## Refunds

- **Self-serve:** you can refund your latest purchase, in full, within 7 days of buying it, once per account, in the game: Looks > Shop > Purchases. The refund removes every item that purchase gave you.
- **Automatic:** a duplicate purchase, or a payment whose items never arrived, is refunded automatically.
- All other purchases are final, except where the law requires otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

## If we change or close Riventale

- If we stop selling a look, everyone who bought it keeps it.
- We may change how a look is drawn as the game changes; it stays the same item.
- If we decide to close Riventale, we will say so in the game and on this site at least 30 days before it closes, and stop selling looks from that day. Looks bought in the 30 days before that announcement are refunded to the card they were paid with.
- Online play needs our servers, and they can be down at times.

## Liability

Riventale is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

## Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore. We may update these terms; the date below is the current version, and changes that affect purchases already made apply only with your agreement.
