What this covers

Content players make and show to others: world names, cairn and chest names, chat, builds, and the worlds they open to other players. The game’s own art, sounds and music are listed on the credits page.

Sending a takedown notice

Email support@latticelogic.app with "Copyright notice" in the subject. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), the notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
  2. The work you say was copied, or a list of them if there are several.
  3. The material you say infringes, and enough to find it: the world, the player name, the place or coordinates, the date, and a screenshot if you can.
  4. Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.

What we do

  • We remove the material or hide it from other players.
  • We tell the player who made it, and how to send a counter-notice.
  • Strikes: each valid notice is a strike on the player’s account. Three valid strikes within 12 months suspend the account.
  • Repeat infringers: a player who infringes again after a suspension is banned from online play for good under the rules, and their account is closed.
  • A strike is removed if the material is put back after a counter-notice.

Sending a counter-notice

If your content was removed by mistake or misidentified, email support@latticelogic.app with "Counter-notice" in the subject. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), it must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The material that was removed, and where it was before: the world, the place and the date.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for the district where your address is (or, if your address is outside the United States, any district where Lattice Logic may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice, or their agent.

We send your counter-notice, with your contact details, to the person who sent the notice. Unless they first tell us they have filed a court action to stop the material, we put it back 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.

False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for the damages, including costs and lawyers’ fees.
